What we collect, and why

The Chomski Report is a division of Briteday Ventures LLC. This page describes, in plain language, what information this site (chomskireport.com) collects, what happens to it, and how to have it removed. We are not lawyers and this isn't written as a legal document dense with terms nobody reads — it's a true description of what actually happens.

What we collect

If you download the free FTC AI Disclosure Checklist, we collect the email address you submit on that page. That's the only personal information this site asks for anywhere.

Anonymous page visits. The checklist page also pings a simple counter each time it loads, so we know roughly how much traffic it gets. This ping carries no name, no email, and no identifying information — just "this page was viewed, at this time." We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking or advertising script anywhere on this site, and we don't use cookies to track you across visits or across other sites.

If you email us (at hello@chomskireport.com or directly to Michael), we obviously have that email address and whatever you wrote, the same as any email.

What we do with it

An email address submitted for the checklist is used to send you the checklist PDF, by email, once. It's stored in a private log on our own systems so we know who has already received it and to catch anything going wrong with delivery. Right now we don't run an ongoing email newsletter or drip sequence from this list — if that ever changes, this page will say so before it starts, and every message will include a way to stop it.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for their own marketing purposes. The only outside services involved at all are the ones that make the checklist and this site work: Netlify (which hosts this site and handles the checklist form submission) and Zoho Mail (which sends the checklist email). Both process the address only to do that job.

AI-generated content

The Chomski Report's videos are AI-generated, and every video discloses that per FTC Endorsement Guide (16 CFR 255) and EU AI Act requirements — see the notice in this site's footer. That disclosure practice is separate from this privacy policy but we're stating it here too because it's relevant to what kind of business this is.

How to be removed

There is no automated one-click unsubscribe link on the checklist email yet — if you want your email address removed from our records, email hello@chomskireport.com and say so. We will remove it and confirm once it's done. This is a one-person operation, so expect a personal reply, not an autoresponder.

Children

This site and its checklist are intended for business use by marketers and brand teams, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. We won't quietly start doing something different with information already collected under this version of the policy.
